has received notification of an award relating to his work involving creditor's rights/bankruptcy.
Details on the award will be made available upon receipt. He has been a speaker for various groups
and/or trade associations for many years.
Karen L. Rowse-Oberle
was recently selected for the Bar Register of
Preeminent Women Lawyers for 2011 by Martindale-Hubbell, a Division of
LexisNexis. The peer review award is exclusive to women lawyers who have
achieved the HIGHEST POSSIBLE RATING in both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards. This
award is in addition to her certification as a consumer bankruptcy specialist by the American
Board of Certification.
Karen L. Rowse-Oberle
will speak on the issue of Ethics at the American Bankruptcy Institute in Traverse City
in June, 2011. She has been a frequent speaker/ moderator for ABI functions, as well for groups
including the Institute of continuing Legal Education, the State Bar of Michigan, and others.
Brenda Gehringer-Grima
recently conducted a seminar for the Collection Consortium in the Southeastern Michigan area
regarding the topic of the new garnishment rules affecting creditors.
